Swann, a global leader in security monitoring solutions, proudly debuts the intelligently designed TruBlue™ 4000 Series of D1 DVRs. Available in 4 and 8 channel configurations, Swann’s TruBlue™ line delivers professional-grade protection for home or business applications with 4 x the resolution of the old technology, known as ‘CIF’. D1 is DVD-quality video!

At the core of Swann’s new line DIY security monitoring kits is the latest TruBlue™ blue-lit D1 DVR with real time, full screen high resolution video recording for the ultimate in professional protection. This comprehensive surveillance system allows you to simultaneously view and record 4 or 8 high resolution 600TVL indoor/outdoor cameras that feature powerful night vision up to 65’. The 4 channel is known as the DVR4-4000 and the 8 channel as the DVR8-4000.

You can view live or recorded video in high resolution on your LCD screen via either a HDMI or VGA connection.  The intuitive user interface means that you can monitor multiple cameras on a split screen and select any one camera for full screen high resolution real time viewing or playback of pre-recorded footage. With either a built-in 500GB or 1TB hard drive, users have the ability to record continuously for approximately 30 days or even longer when using the motion detection settings.

The free SwannView app offers convenient remote viewing functionality to the DVR4-4000 or DVR8-4000 kits by allowing you to set up live remote viewing on your mobile device. Set up is extremely easy with Swann’s new ‘My DVR’ customizable network configuration. Once the kits are installed, simply download the free SwannView app from your smartphone’s application store or go to www.swann.com/swannview for the latest version of the SwannView app. Once the app is installed on your Smartphone, put the DVR’s IP address into the browser and in minutes you can view video from your cameras live onscreen.
