VDT DIRECT ADDS LATEST ANDROID NOTIFICATIONS TO WEBEYE

VDT Direct, the leading developer of rapid deployment video security solutions, has added new Android enhancements to WebEye CMS, the world’s first fully cloud-based alarm monitoring software for the RSI Videofied system.  These enhancements ensure that this interactive security solution meets the latest Android specifications including the forthcoming changes to the primary push notification system.  This will ensure that WebEye continues to deliver resilient and reliable alarm notifications to Android-based smartphones and tablet computers.

According to Clive Mason, Managing Director at VDT Direct:  “We are experiencing a substantial increase in enquiries from organisations using Android devices and are committed to ensuring that WebEye remains the most advanced remote monitoring solution for these users.”

VDT Direct has made a significant investment in developing WebEye which now enables alarm notifications to be received and handled from any internet-enabled computer, tablet or smartphone including iPhone, Android and Windows Phone.  The company has also expanded its development team with the recruitment of a new Android software engineer.
