INGERSOLL RAND INTRODUCES NEW CONTACTLESS HOTEL RANGE

Leading global provider of security and safety solutions Ingersoll Rand introduces CISA eSIGNO, the latest in its access control solutions designed specifically for the hospitality industry, which will be premiered at IFSEC in Birmingham 13 – 16 May 2013.

The new CISA eSIGNO Contactless Lock, with its elegant and compact Italian design, requires no wiring or invasive work on the door ensuring a simple installation whether on new projects or upgrading of an existing system.  The system can also be easily integrated with previously installed CISA contactless locks.

The new lock is opened simply by holding the card up to the reader utilising contactless technology, which minimises wear and tear. The CISA eSIGNO Contactless Lock range is also available in a wireless battery powered version which offers the possibility of complete control over the entire system from a central station even in the event of a power failure.

The new CISA eSIGNO Outdoor Electronic Cylinder offers the hospitality industry a quick and easy solution to upgrade from mechanically operated locks to electronic access control. The cylinder can be easily installed in to doors of any material and meets all the standards of conventional DIN Euro profile locks thus ensuring easy integration into both new and existing buildings.

The battery powered cylinder requires no wiring upon installation and is available in dual electronic lever or single cylinder versions as well as an IP66 version for outdoor installations.

Also launched to complement the range is the new CISA eSIGNO Hospitality Safe including a 90-degree door opening and automatic interior LED lighting, which can house goods as large as a laptop.  The safe is opened using 4 – 6 digit user codes and fitted with a motorised lock which has a mechanical emergency override. The new safe also offers the end user peace of mind with a 300 event audit trail which can be easily downloaded on to a SD memory card and connected to any PC.

Paul Taylor, UK Sales Leader EAC of Ingersoll Rand, said: “The new CISA eSIGNO range has been designed to provide end users and facilities managers with unique advantages over others available in the market. Within the hospitality market, whether it be building access or safety of guests and their personal valuables, security is paramount and through these innovative products hotel owners users can rest assured they are providing customers with security of the highest levels.
