Requirement
Jim Pendleton, Estates Manager at Wellington School, has been responsible for the recent upgrade of doors from digital keypads to wirefree smart access control in order to improve security and better control the movement of staff and students around the campus.
Solution
To achieve this, the new solution installed by local SALTO dealer TLS Security is the XS4 platform. Fifty plus doors in school boarding houses, offices and external doors have been upgraded with SALTO’s XS4 E9450 slim-line electronic escutcheons supported by XS4 2.0 wall readers and controllers.
With a large variety of models, XS4 electronic escutcheons are simple to install and easy to manage. They fit virtually any door, including wooden and PVC doors as well as those with narrow metal frames. All are totally wire-free and networked through SALTO Virtual Network and SALTO Wireless network for access control in real time.
